Thank you, Jesse, for giving a big shout-out to the obvious solution — routine post-election audits. There is NO OTHER USE of computers where we allow completely unverified computer output to make irrevocable decisions. We would never allow, say, a bank manger to lock up the records and refuse to verify that the ATMs had credited our deposits to the right accounts. Yet we allow nearly every election manager to lock up the records and refuse to verify that the voting machines credited our votes to the right candidates. California and Colorado are leading the way…let’s get every city and state to follow.
