Love in solitude

I picture us running away together.

Living on a green field in a quaint wooden cottage.

Outcasts to society.

Unrealistic.

Fantastical.

Sitting by a crackling fire, holding each other.

Our embrace is one that emulates love, honesty, and passion.

We have each other.

No material possession will ever be worth what love does for us.

It is the air we breathe,

the land on which we float.

Our united hearts are what we use to fight the world, and build a sanctuary just for the two of us.

The world may shun us, but it doesn’t matter, so long as we have each other.
