How to be the Woman Who Rises Strong

You are not the woman “they” thought you were… the woman who always said ‘Yes’, the girl who spent her entire childhood trying to be ‘nice’, the colleague who spoke softly, tread lightly, and deferred to others for their “suggestions.”

That version of you was never real.

It just took some knock-you-around life punches to figure out that the fake you has no power and the REAL you is everything.

So… now life has put you through the ringer and it suddenly dawns on you that everybody fails, everybody falls but not everybody gets back up.

You can see how some women grow up, some women grow old, and other women grow bitter… and you now decide to make a different choice.

Instead of fighting your desires, you revel in them.

Instead of pretending like things are okay, you give yourself the space and room to make them right.

Instead of holding on to people, places and things you were never meant to have, you allow them to go as quickly as they came.

And you make the conscious decision that, no matter who or what leaves,

YOU will never again leave YOU…

And then the real party starts. People ask why you’ve changed, why you’re not as nice, why you seem distant, why they can’t seem to ‘get through to you.’

And to all of those questions there is one simple answer:

I’m being ME.

No other words, explanations or debates are required.

You finally have come to the realization that YOU are enough, that YOU are magnificent, that YOU deserve the best and that YOU can give it to yourself.

And now… here comes your opportunity to create and live a Second Life.

May you create one remarkably unlike the first.

May you bring to this Second Life EVERY desire and enjoy all of them.

May you only accept the things you truly want (and forget about settling for the stuff you think you ‘need’).

And may you leave everything that is not worthy of you alone from the very start.

That is my vision for you. I hope this is also your vision for yourself.

Create the life that’s yours.

It’s waiting on you. You are not waiting on it.

Go there…
