My Best 40 Startup Lessons From The Writers on Medium

Within a span of 3 years, I had started twice! My first startup was launched as an MVP and within a quarter, this one made a GMV of 77000 INR. Not a big deal, but indeed a big deal for someone who had identified a problem as a need and not as a desire.
Fast forward a year, when I ran out of my savings and couldn’t fetch external funding, I had to move back to a full-time job in another startup. Here I was working along with 50 member team across different verticals and I was at the intersection as a growth analyst. A lot of learnings over here!
Fast forward 6 months, this startup got shut down owing to investment issues and I got back to work on my own thing. And this time, I planned to build a content engine for startups. This is what I’m doing at present. One after the other, startups are reaching out with their content requirements.
However, here I’m not narrating my life story, here I’m reflecting on what it takes to have a startup DNA? Not all can thrive through, and not all can pull in strong for long. I couldn’t either. But there are a lot many who do, and who have done before.
Every single day, when my Medium account pops up articles on entrepreneurship, I read with same enthusiasm like every other day. My keen interest is increasing exponentially. And to my surprise, if I have to choose what do I read the most over here, I would select entrepreneurship, startups and writing as my top 3 keywords.
The Medium has gifted experienced writers and their learnings to us. Here I’ve collected a few startup lessons from articulate writers and aiming to add more to this list as I keep on learning.
