You Are Not Equal. I’m Sorry.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your marching did nothing for my freedom. Our nation’s military…the army, navy, air force, and marines…those who sacrificed themselves for our country…THEY are the ones that gave me my freedom. I feel you may be misguided in thinking that millions of women wearing pink “hats” and other outrageous getups was a pivotal stand for all women. It wasn’t. It was more of a pivotal embarrassment. For women in western culture to use the term “oppression” to describe way of life in 21st century America is downright ignorant…and outrageously embarrassing. If you do not appreciate the freedom and blessings that you have in the US, and somehow think that “marching” improved the way of life for all women, you are sadly wrong, and terribly confused.
