The Hat Says Multitudes
Jonathan Carroll

In one of my other lives I’m a wire art jeweler. Honestly, people generally don’t buy things (I mean, aside from food, buckets, mops, and similar unglamorous items) people buy the story about themselves that the thing tells them.

And as a jeweler, I’ve sold so many amulets over time that someone felt made them look braver or stronger or more beautiful…. and since I’m a firm proponent of fake it til you make it, I’m pretty ok with that.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
