A fool’s diddy

Be the fool.
Embarrass yourself.
Choose something,
Choose something else.
Jump first,
Spill your tears,
Make regrets,
Run towards fear.
Don’t wait,
Don’t be smart,
Live out each beat of your heart.
Full and foolish,
You will survive.
Until, of course, you actually die.
But even then,
Not quite as dead
As the woman or man who lived in the head.
The fool’s life continues still
In the minds that envy her courage and will.
A life fooly lived,
A life fully gained,
Live with a question mark
Beside your name.
