We’ve all heard it. Those comments. “All you do is carry him!” “He’s going to have a hard time when he’s school age” “how do you get anything done carrying him around all day?” The truth is..

..Our babies are only babies for a short amount of time. They won’t always fit in our arms. They won’t always want to climb up on our lap and cuddle. They won’t always need us. Why not enjoy each moment while we can? The fact is..

..A secure attachment is the healthiest form of attachment a child can develop. This security leads to better relationships, better problem-solving & social skills, more overall happiness and encourages independence that helps a child grow and explore. What more could a generational-trauma-breaking-parent ask for? With TikTok and other social media platforms gaining the type of momentum they have over the past few years, #MomTok and #ParentingTok have shined a light on the work parents are putting into raising mentally healthy children. From first-time moms to stay-at-home moms to working moms to working-from-home moms, we are all doing what is biologically normal and correct for our families.

How do you parent?

Mama. Milk-maker. Hippie, I guess..? On a mission to raise good humans and help other parents do the same. I like writing and exchanging thoughts. Stick around!
