As parents, we were worried. Worried about how our kids, in the future, were going to access the 100,000+ photos we’ve taken of them. Worried about how and where they’d be able to relive their childhood memories. On Dropbox? In our old Facebook feeds? On a backup drive that’s stored who knows where?
We talked to our friends and it turns out, they were worried too.
And then we talked the masses.
We worked with Harris Interactive and surveyed parents nationwide* to find out if they have a plan to save their children’s memories.
The majority of parents surveyed are taking too many photos, storing them in too many places, and overwhelmed about how their kids are going to access their childhood memories in the future.

75% of parents save their photos and videos in multiple places.
We weren’t surprised, but we were inspired.
Inspired to keep making Keepy the best platform for families to save and share their memories. Inspired to work harder than ever to create new features like allowing users to upload memories from any source (Dropbox, Facebook) and enabling them to upload more types of memories (Videos, PDFs). Inspired to continue to evolve and create a superior product for families so in 5, 10, or 20 years, kids around the world can easily access the story of their lives.
*We surveyed 264 parents with children under 10 who share photos and videos with family/friends
