Americans Should Fear The Next Attorney General.

Donald Trump hates his Attorney General, the one he appointed. Trump hates Jeff Sessions mostly because Sessions did as he was required to do and recused himself from a Russia investigation for which he was (and remains) a potential target.

Trump has made clear he plans to fire Sessions as soon as it is politically expedient to do so, i.e. after the midterm elections. Can you imagine what he plans to replace Sessions with?

We don’t have to imagine. The President has signaled exactly the kind of person he is looking for to replace the current Attorney General.

Donald Trump is looking for a new Attorney General, one who will be loyal to him, and not justice. The primary job description for the next Attorney General will be for a person who will protect Trump’s friends and persecute Trump’s enemies. Of course, that includes protecting Trump himself from Mueller’s investigation, which continues to move closer to him and his inner circle.

Justice will be handed out in America based on political favors to the Chief Executive. Criminal investigation of his allies will be suppressed, while orders to persecute his opponents will be fulfilled.

Make no mistake about it. That will be the job of the next United States Attorney General. That person will be required by the President to convert this nation to a banana republic, where justice is dispensed based on political favor, and political revenge. Blind justice will be replaced by a partisan monster.
