I agree, and I think the difference is real and practical. If the means of teleporting me was merely reducing all that I am to code and reconstructing me at another site out of local materials then I have not been teleported. I have just been duplicated. Unless you destroy the original me, there are now two Keiths. It’s like a super accurate 3-D Keith printer and 3-D printers leave the original and the copy.
Via the process you could make millions of Keiths, each identical to and as valid in any physics sense as the original Keith.
Personally, I humbly believe the world would be better place with millions of Keiths. However, I suspect many would disagree, though they are mostly family.
