Some Wars Start Small: The History of Boko Haram
Andy Warner

Marvelously easy to understand

I am a Nigerian myself, and I find this to be remarkably on point. It has even enabled me understand the Boko Haram insurgency better myself. Your visual aides are refreshingly helpful. In Nigeria, I live in Lagos, so I have not been directly impacted by Boko Haram, but I try to keep informed about their insurgency in the north east.
