I want to take a moment and talk about Coincidence, Luck and Opportunity of a lifetime.
As you already know from previous articles, I am David, marketer and a PhD student. I started my research in Georgia, procedeed in Germany and afterwards, I decided to finalize it in Georgia again. It is all around social commerce, social networks and e-commerce. Therefore, for being a digital marketer, it is crucially important to understand how social media works — as more than 4 billion people have internet and more than 3,5 billion are active in social media.
We have moved to the new era — era where we have no boundaries in communications. Internet and social media made it easy to establish secured and instant end-to-end communications, to find information that we need in a minute and so on.
We — humans learned how to use AI in favor of us. We fill the information and then the magic happens: AI does the job for us, analyzes the thing we like, connects information around us etc. Nowadays, advanced AI of popular social networks analyze tons of information every hour. All this makes a difference — it helps us focus on what we like and can suggest a content depending on our mood.
AI was my main motivation as I wanted to learn more about social networks. I wanted to understand how to bring the value to the people from both sides: on the one hand — how people can grow their network, learn more, see the content they are interested in etc. and on the other hand — how social network can work, how AI should process the information, what information it should use where, when, why, etc.
The person who is fascinated with social networks this much, suddenly ends up in a game-changer company that is developing a platform of tomorrow.
According to the various studies, even venture-backed startups still see failure rate that is as high as 75%. From the perspective of an idea generator or a startup founder, talented professionals with the right skillset are hard to find, while from the technical professionals’ viewpoint, finding right channels to look for interesting projects fitting their interests and passion are challenging.
