Cultural marxism made the most sense to me at the time; to differentiate the identity-politics based Marxism from class-focused Marxism. If you have a better term, I am happy to consider it because I’d love to define it more clearly. I have also seen neo-Marxist. As for college liberal elite; I come from a southern conservative working class culture, yet I was privileged to be able to attend an elite liberal college. I don’t see what your problem with the phrase actually is — do you not believe that most elite colleges are liberal?
