“James, I’m a volunteer with White Nonsense Roundup and we’ve been asked to come over here and talk about what you’re doing with this post”

This would be hilarious if it weren’t sadly so indicative of what is considered socially acceptable these days. This reads like satire! They sent the PC Police to come and collect you, James. I wonder — have the folks who participate in the “White Nonsense Roundup” (which sounds indeed like a load of nonsense) read “1984?” Have they read “Brave New World?” Does the Orwellian language and the role they are (unwittingly, wittingly?) choosing to play in history go right over their head?

“The first and most important point is that racism can NOT be perpetrated against white folks, its not possible. Racism requires institutional power that is not afforded Black and Brown individuals in this country, it is given to White folks by accident of birth and perpetuated by a system designed to keep White people in power and Black and Brown people on the outside.”

This Ism = Prejudice + Power definition is not one I subscribe to anymore (and I subscribed to it and preached it for 20 years), at least not in the way it is now being abused by leftist authoritarians like the “White Nonsense Roundup.”

Racism is racism is racism. Sexism is sexism is sexism. You do not fight racism by engaging in it, anymore than you fight sexism by engaging in it. You only perpetuate it. I read the original piece James is satirizing, and though I may not have used his choice of style, the point he is making here is clear.

One of the saddest effects of sexism is that it has the ability to turn those who face it into sexists if they so choose. Same with racism. It is a devastating virus, and you at “White Nonsense Roundup” are acting as footsoldiers for a poisonous and racist ideology, whether unwittingly or not.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.

(And before you lecture me on quoting Dr. King, as a Former SJW I already know what you are going to say: that white people should keep his name from their lips. I think that’s an incredibly authoritarian, racist and sad opinion to advance, but it’s yours to claim.)
