Crusty Gourmet Pizza has rebranded to Tossin Pizza. Yes, your favourite getaway for Calzone & Lal Maas Pizza in Delhiwill now have a new signboard. Taking inspiration from tossing the dough for Pizza , the name Tossin came into being. Crusty has called it an “upgrade” rather than rebranding . With a high decibel marketing plan in place , Tossin plans to hit 2 more cities (Bangalore & Pune ) in 2016 before expanding internationally (Chicago) in 2017 . The change in name has come up due to similarity in name/logo with brand Crust which has it’s presence in US as well as Australia . With expansion plans in sight , Rohit Narang (Chef & Owner — Tossin) probably didn’t want any issues with these chains going forward.

In an unexpected set of events for the masses , the Crusty launched in Chandigarh a week ago had a new name Tossin. The rebranding has been fast & the Crusty website too is echoing the same. Started in 2013 , Crusty has 6 outlets currently in Delhi/NCR ( 4 in Gurgaon & 2 in Delhi) & 1 in Chandigarh. It has earned a huge fan following along with awards like ” Best Pizza in Gurgaon ” in it’s kitty .

Tossin has managed to keep the quality standards high with systems & processes ( especially portion & quality control) set up across the 7 outlets . Tossin rave reviews about the exquisite menu have traveled all over Delhi NCR . Where else can you find gourmet Pizzas like Moroccon Lamb Pizza, Mutton Keema Khansaa Pizza , Roohafza Mojito & Nutella Hazlenut Calzones in Gurgaon ? No wonder, the franchise owners of Tossin have taken up 2 outlets each.

It’s an Indian brand with a distinct identity going to give a tough fight to the international brands globally. Our best wishes to Tossin to make it happen.
