Winter Trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil

Well, it’s winter for Brazilians. Scarves and coats are out, at 70 degrees F. I’m living in the heart of the new financial district in SP. Walking down the street of Faria Lima, I see endless men (some women) wearing business attire. More so than in NYC. They remind me of penguins. My internship is at Endeavor Brasil where I will be mapping the innovation ecosystem of 34 Brazilian cities. It’s been raining a lot here, the sky is often cloudy, and the sun sets around 5pm. It’s only my 3rd day here, but I’m starting to get more acquainted with my surroundings, taking Portuguese classes and going for runs at Parque Povo. I have a good feeling about Sao Paulo for the next 2 months.
