Yeah, like I said earlier I think a lot of people tossed money her way on the basis of “Aha! That’ll show those horrible entitled trolls!” and it works. It could of kept working for quite awhile, except she was crying wolf so loudly and constantly that she basically burned it out.

Even the most fanatical or ignorant of her supporters are starting to wonder if something is up and want to see something more substantial for their money than the idea that it might somehow, somewhere piss off a shadowy ‘them’. They might even be starting to doubt this ‘them’ even exists.

Mind, this is basically the end result for a lot of stuff that‘s sustained via outrage and tribalism. Look around and you can see the fatigue setting in. Her story is far from the last we’ll seen of this, but it’s interesting how she managed to reach this point so quickly.
