When working on a film or TV set, it is very important to move around quickly, but quietly. The use of a ‘blimp’ will ensure that the sound boom does not pick up the noises of the camera shutter etc.

Price ranges from $300-$1,200.

If I am serious about being a unit still photographer, I will need to look into the type of equipment they use.
