I just want to know why is Nate Parker being hated on or why people went on a smear campaign against him…..at this time. Because he’s talked about this case for YEARS. Back when Great Debaters came out. He’s had all of these other films release….from Great Debaters to Beyond the Lights…. Yet, he’s attached when he makes a film based on Nat Turner’s life? Does that not raise any white flags to you guys?

Its a shame that his art and this incredible story won’t be seen by the many people who need to see it. All because…..of who he chose to love.
