4 Great Challenges

There are four great challenges in society: Globalization, Terrorism, Climate Change, and Changing Demographics. Globalization have to do with outsourcing work and the developement with the modern world. Terrorism has to do with the effect of terrorist groups and their effect on organizations. Climate change has become an issue that organizations can no longer avoid because it has a major effect on the surrounding world. And changing demographics have to do with statisitical desriptiions of the population.

I think that one of the main issues that our world faces is climate change. Living in Hawaii, I am starting to see the effects first hand. Just recently we had an outbreak of Dunge fever on the big island. The spreading of diseases is one of the effects of climate change. If we don’t make an effort to stop this from happening, we risk seeing the shores of Waikiki and all its ocean front businesses and hotels be washed away.
