Email is a daily game. Played well, it can be an endless spring of small achievement.

I came around to my own way to play somewhat indirectly, largely through trial and error. I learned methods like Inbox Zero and the Eisenhower matrix later than I would have liked, but I’m happier for it — I arrived at email peace a slightly different route and found what works for me.

This isn’t a typical guide to managing your email, although it will cover some of the tried and true concepts and practices. I’ve aimed to keep things generic enough to be applicable to whatever tools and system you use, while also specific enough to be actionable.

Take what’s useful and find your own way that works.

Strategy is where mindset lives, so let’s start there

As perpetual “why kid”, understanding an approach to something was absolutely necessary before doing any task; it had to make sense before I would bother.
