He didn’t have to show up.

But the opportunity to help rising Michigan State star Miles Bridges show off at the 14th annual Moneyball Pro-Am in Dimondale, Mich. on Tuesday night was too good for Chicago Bulls guard Denzel Valentine to pass up.

Essentially serving as Bridges passing pawn, Valentine dished out assist after assist leading to a collection of highlight-reel dunks from Bridges.

Valentine wasn’t completely selfless during this game. He joined in on the dunking action himself and flashed his 3-point shooting range.

Here are the full highlights courtesy of Valentine’s Instagram page.

The Moneyball Pro-Am pins collegiate and professional players from the state of Michigan against each other in a series of games running from June 29 until August 3.

Valentine also talked to Lansing State Journal writer James L. Edwards III about how he has prepared for his probable expanded role in his second season with the now rebuilding Bulls. It’s worth a read!
