To tweet or not to tweet- that is the question.

Twitter, in my opinion, is a great tool for communication. It allows people from all across the world to be able to create online communities that offer support for different people from all walks of life. For example, teachers from all across the world can share tips and ideas and even advice to other teachers in the form of articles, pictures, videos or even just text posts.

As a teacher, twitter can also be an effective tool in the classroom. It can be used to communicate with students about class work or topics of study or even offer them fun activities that they can use at home to further their knowledge. Alternatively it can be used between teachers to share their methods and ideas about making the classroom better.

I think that twitter and all forms of social media can be used to make the learning experience of both students and teachers more effective and engaging, bringing education into the 21st century.

I will definitely be using twitter and other forms of social media to assist not only myself as a teacher but other teachers and my students in their education and learning.
