Annual AIR Society Gala with a Touch from MWD Lifestyles
Gorgeous florals, stunning views and a great cause.
Simple, elegant and modern describes the decor suggested by MWD Lifestyles for the Annual AIR Society Gala in Spring, 2014. Staggering groupings of fish bowls accented with submerged blue/purple hydrangeas and finished with bunches of hand tied hydrangea bouquets struck a note on floor 68 of Tower 4. Fuchsia peonies accented with deep purple fiddlehead ferns were silhouetted against stunning 360 degree views of downtown Manhattan, its bridges to Brooklyn, New Jersey and even Liberty.
Tall lily and vibernum arrangements were well matched with the sense of serenity with being so elevated. Giant cherry blossom arrangements complimented the blue color scheme, a corporate favorite and also softened the room. As a design house MWD Lifestyles usually avoids using too many floral varieties but in this case modern clusters of florals signified diversity, individuality and legacy, three important tenants for the AIR Society.
