The Four Seasons, a Cold Winter and MWD Lifestyles

A style file on The Four Seasons celebration of some special preferred guests.

Being a preferred vendor for the Four Seasons Hotel and being selected to design the Four Seasons Preferred Global Partners celebration was a welcome honor by the MWD Lifestyles team, warming up an arduously cold winter in early 2014. The Four Seasons Hotel, according to Wikipedia, is listed at number 3 on World’s 15 most expensive hotel suites compiled by CNN Go in 2012.

From the reception to the halls and the meeting rooms to the cocktail reception each room bore the hues, textures and florals that were a result of a collaborative effort. Guests from all over the globe were greeted by 2 oversized balls of white dianthus accented with cascading lavender Phalenopsis orchids sitting atop a tall clear cylinder filled with heads of hydrangea.

Decking the halls with 18” white boxes accents with pillar candles in varying heights and white dianthus encased clear towers at the foot of columns, guests made their way to meeting rooms. Tables of yellow gold cymbidium orchids hinted the sun wasn’t far off.

At the heart of the ultra modern cocktail reception sat a bubble bar flanked by square mirror top boxes accented with Magnolia leaves and clusters of hydrangea. Vanda orchid arrangements were a colorful touch that easily played with gray sky patterned linens. Transformational design for this corporate event was memorable, in part by the friendly and very helpful staff, in part by the multitude of guests who bought ideas, excitement and good will and, admittingly, to MWD Lifestyle’s sheer love of style.
