I’m not surprised people are bashing her. And I don’t think the hate is because she’s a woman. Yes, the comments are gender specific, but the rational is based on her most well being known for being naked.

Take political advice from someone who is famous for being naked? Maybe once you get to know them or their opinions, but at first glance, it’s hard to take them serious, and probably a bit annoying that she is using sexy appeal for a political matter (yes, she’s showing off her belly).

But let’s look at a male known for being dumb and sexy — Channing Tatem. I wouldn’t take political advice from him either, especially if he was posting his muscles and talking politics in the same post.

Again, I acknowledge that the specific comments are gender related, but the hate is for seemingly dumb sexy people, and would apply for either gender. I say seemingly because I don’t actually know if they’re dumb, but only am giving my initial impression of them as their image is portrayed by various media outlets.
