Great theory and article (on nothing more than Rey is a Kenobi, my wife immediately noted the similar clothing), but why does Force Ghost Obi Wan think all is lost and it takes Yoda to say there is another if that “another” is Obi-Wan’s granddaughter? One would think that Obi Wan would have greater faith in his own offspring.

I’m not sure how much Episodes 8 and 9 are set in stone, but I would not be surprised if in a way we get both theories. The balance in the force should be restored by team work amongst the Skywalker, Kenobi, Solo, and other families rather than just by one individual savior.
