SOMALIA: “Very High Alert.”

The Fragile States Index is based on the twelve primary social, economic and political indicators. These twelve primary social, economic and political indicators are Demographic Pressures, Refugees, and IDPs, Group Grievance, Human Flight, and Brain Drain, Uneven Economic Development, Poverty and Economic Decline, State Legitimacy, Public Services, Human Rights and Rule of Law, Security Apparatus, Factionalized Elites and External Intervention.

A state that’s considered to be at a “Very High Alert” is Somalia ( it’s totaled at 114.0), with Finland (totaled at 18.8) being considered as “Very Sustainable.” The U.S. was ranked 158th, behind the UK at 161st. The United States overall totaled is 34.0, making it one of the lowest, when it comes to sustainability.
