The Sad State of Web Development

Dear Drew,

You got a point about SPA by default — Developers should always consider the best technology for the product to be developed.

I don’t care for your disrespectful tone. People contribute their time and ideas for OSS, this act should be appreciated. The development team at Facebook shared their solution with the public — the public decided that it’s a good solution by using it.

I encourage you to share your solution proposal against React’s concrete solution (and ideas).

You ignored that fact that NPM helps us with dependencies in Javascript, what did we used in the past for dependencies of a Javascript lib?

If I take one thing positive from your article is that we use a lot of NPM packages by default on every project and we could benefit from an updated standard library — A good idea for a constructive discussion.

FYI, React is especially good at what you suggested — using complex solutions on complex UI, Like you said facebook.com is a prefect example (What they consider complex is React component, the majority of the site is not React).
