An Oath to inspire a Safer Kolkata
Safe Drive Save Life-Kolkata JAAAGO Session for the drivers are always crowded! Drivers of various vehicles come together and attend the session in a jovial manner! Why won’t they? The OmniDEL platform has already bridged the wide gap between the Police and the Drivers! Today Safe Drive Save Life-Kolkata JAAAGO Session held at Jorabagan Traffic Guard was an achievement for the Kolkata JAAAGO Team!
Today when I reached the Session… the seats were occupied by our driver friends…waiting excitedly for the session to start..but something more than excitement was there in there eyes…. I noticed.
All through the Session this fresh group of drivers told me how their other friends have attended the Session and promised each other to inspire a Safer Kolkata by joining the Safe Drive Save Life Movement… with the JAAAGTE HOBE song, this session saw an upsurge of spirits and suddenly a high spirited driver (whom I have noticed to be the most attentive one) stood up and asked my permisison to say something to his fellow drivers. I got to know….his name was Prakash!
Prakash encouraged all his driver friends to stand up and take an oath along with the Kolkata Traffic Sergeant Sandip Halder to work together to build a Safer Tomorrow for all of us!
Prakash made each driver promise to abide by various Traffic Rules which are often let down by the drivers on the roads! This was the time when I realized that Safe Drive Save Life-Kolkata JAAAGO not only teaches Road Values but liberates one’s mind to become a responsible citizen. That is the power of Safe Drive Save Life-Kolkata JAAAGO sessions!
And I am sure.. Every day hundreds of drivers like Prakash are waking up to a better Road Behaviour to build a Safer Tomorrow.
