More than 5,000 young women from across the country participated in this year’s Lax for the Cure, a young women’s lacrosse tournament, to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. This year’s tournament, held on June 22 to June 24, 2018 in New Egypt, NJ, raised $235,000 for the two state Affiliates of Susan G. Komen.

“We are so grateful to all of the players, parents, donors and supporters of Lax for the Cure, as well as event directors Jessica, Charlie and their team,” said Suzanne Corson, executive director of Komen Central and South Jersey (Komen CSNJ). “Their passion and dedication to our mission is incredibly inspiring.”
