After making the playoffs in 2017 for the first time in 13 years, the Rams made a push to bolster its chances at winning the Super Bowl by adding star players Marcus Peters and Ndamukong Suh in the offseason. Both of those players, as well as three others, cracked the recent ESPN list of the league’s top 100 players. Peters, who was acquired from the Kansas City Chiefs in February, came in at №48 on the list, while Suh, who was signed by the Rams in free agency, was ranked №51 by the popular sports network.
Defensive tackle Aaron Donald was the highest-ranking Ram, as he came in at №3 on the list behind quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Running back Todd Gurley, meanwhile, was ranked №13, while offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth was ranked №58.
