How are you doing today? You're welcome to another exciting episode of Kpop Tunes With Zee, where I bring interesting Kpop songs to your radar.
My name is Ezioma Kalu, and today's episode of Kpop Tunes With Zee is Smart, a song by the beautiful and talented Kpop girl band, LE SSERAFIM.
LE SSERAFIM is a girl band with five members, Kazuha, Yunjin, Sakura, Chaewon, and Eunchae. And although they’re new in the game, because they debuted in 2022, they have started making waves already, and smashing records.
Smart is a song that hooks you up from the very first line. It has the amapiano vibe that makes you want to start dancing immediately you hear it. And the lyrics are also simple to learn. I especially enjoyed their performance in the episode of Jennifer Hudson's show they appeared in.
The chorus goes like this;

I love how confident these pretty ladies are. They are affirming that they are smart. They might be newbies in the game, but they're definitely smart and resilient and they know what they want. They have their eyes on the prize which is to be ultimately winners.
And today, I am also one of the Le sserafim girls singing on top of my voice that I'm smarter. I wanna be a winner, and I will win. Even if the road might seem long, or the light bleak, I'll still win.
This is a song of encouragement and affirmation, a song that gives you ginger. A song that sends goosebumps to you. A song that you will nod to while it's playing in your headset. A song you will dance to while it's blasting from your home theater.
Today is Friday, and so Smart is a perfect song for TGIF. Today, I want you to forget all your worries. Trash all those negative voices in your head telling you that you can't, because you sure can.
Even if you're unknown today, and a newbie in whatever field of life you work in, be optimistic.

I like the fact that my girls are bold and fearless and speaking their truth. Some people say it's pure luck, that their success should be attributed to luck.
But they're telling you that's it's not luck. People see your success and wins, and just conclude that you're lucky, but they don't see the blood, sweat and tears you put into making your art shine. They don't see the sleepless nights, the fears and terrors you go through to achieve your dream.
So today, I want you to drown those background naysayers in the ocean of success. As they're talking trash, you're swimming in wins and victory, because you're smart and a winner.
Today, let's sing and dance to Smart by Le sserafim, because even if we don't see how good we are at what we do, we should remember how far we've come, and know that giving up is never an option.
