Go Ahead

Life is a roller coaster ride and there will be ups and downs. More downs than one can ever imagine. As a generation trapped in between adolescence and adulthood, the frustration of losing our voice in the crowd is perfectly reasonable.

The need to fit in, to be accepted, might have caused us to make mistakes more than necessary. But here is what I have to say to all of you out there. Take some chances and make mistakes.

Albert Einstein once said, “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” You can never be sure of what life has in store for you. Every moment counts and if seizing that moment to make the most of it is a mistake, then do it. Make the mistake that defines you. Break away from the norms of the society and take a stand in what you believe in because by the end of the day it is your happiness that matters the most. Fingers may be raised, questions might be asked, but never lose hope.

Every struggle will mold you into a better person, every failure will give you a stronger purpose to reach and aim for the sky. Don’t wait for that perfect moment to arrive, instead, seize the day and make it your own. I have learnt to dream big, to shoot directly for the stars.

There will be obstacles, fear and even disappointments that might make me want to give up but I will not quit trying as I know by the end of it, I would rather emerge victorious than be the victim of my problems.

Difficulties might make you bitter or better, decisions might make you or break you. But there is always a choice. Go ahead and make it.
