Physical alignment is a familiar concept. We talk about it in Yoga, our form when we run or lift weights, and even when we visit the Chiropractor, but have you ever thought about your mental- emotional alignment?

This is something I’ve been thinking about and experimenting with a lot in my personal life lately. I’ve been feeling restless, like there’s always more to be done or I’m searching for something. Asking big questions like “Why am I here? What’s my purpose for this life?”. Certain things and experiences seem to intensify these feelings, while others lessen their impact. I don’t realize in the moment, but this is my subconscious’ way of bringing me back into my correct alignment!

I relate it closely to authenticity- matching outer experience to inner desires. Living in a way that’s true to You. When we’re out of alignment we’re tired, restless, anxious, like something’s always just a little off. When we’re in alignment we feel good, and things just flow. Finding our own unique alignment is a process that takes time but is so important. Take it one step at a time, and let the part of you that Knows guide you.
