The TRUTH about this conflict is that either of these people could easily make the claim to being “indigenous”. After all, they both originate out of semitic bloodlines. Claims could be made that the Israeli Jews are the decendands of peoples who intermingled with European bloodlines, but given Europes unilateral rejection of them, in harshest of realities, it would be hard to make a claim that they have no right to return to their ancestral homelands — and fight for them if need be, as people who call themselves a “nation” on the face of this earth have done before them. Its time to put down this one sided rhetoric that fails to solve the problem. Remember, it is the indigenous “victims” in this conflict for the most part, who have chosen to maintain voilence and warfare as their primary mode of expression. The fact remains, the majority of Israeli’s and Palestinians alike would prefer to share the land, its the prospect of a 2 state solution and where that might be, that divides them.
The struggle for indigenous rights extends to Palestine
