GMOs: a scapegoat of the American food system

Excellent article. The only thing I would add is that GMOs have been blamed for being less nutricious than non-GMOs. I think this is more likely to do with the intensity of the growing process; the soil gets depleated of a variety of nutrients (GMOs or not) and unless they are regularly replaced by the farmer, less nutricious crops will result.
