Might be a good choice. I don’t know Clovis’s full capabilities, but not having a hard background in the sciences means he has no biases toward research, etc. and can ask/evaluate the hard questions and all possible directions to go without preconceived biases. Time will tell. We've had too many people in high positions that have strong biases which do not allow for evaluation of all possibilities.
