Happy 1st Birthday, Kuri!
Happy Birthday, Kuri! This time last year, we announced our adorable home robot to the world at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. CES is an annual gathering of the latest gadgets, toys, car tech, and more where creators, consumers, and media can get a sneak peek of what’s to come in 2018 technology.

At Kuri’s CES launch, Sarah Osentoski (our COO and co-founder of Mayfield Robotics) shared, “We’re proud to introduce Kuri to the world and can’t wait to see how he touches the lives of everyone, ranging from parents and children to early technology adopters.”
Kuri’s first CES was a huge success! Our home robot was welcomed by CES attendees with ooo’s and aww’sthat couldn’t have made our team prouder. Since then, Kuri has charmed the tech world with new feature announcements like Kuri Vision, dancing,new romojis, and more.

As our COO mused at CES last year, “For generations, people have dreamed of having their own personal robot in the home, and we’ve been focused on making that dream more of a reality.” Since then, we’re happy to announce that our home robot is a reality. Kuri has begun shipping to customers’ homes, and has quickly become a lovable new family member in homes across the U.S.!
Today marks the first day of CES 2018, and our entire team is excited to celebrate Kuri’s first birthday in Las Vegas again! This week, we’ll be introducing Kuri to new tech enthusiasts and sharing the story behind our adorable home robot.
