http://elearningindustry.com/7-online-training-complaints-to-avoid
In this artical it talked about different things people complain abotu what useing eLearning resouces.
These are some notes i made as i feel these are the most important things i want to avoid.
“I don’t have any clear learning goals to focus on.”
Make are they have a clear idea of what they will be able to do once they complete the task
“I’m not sure how I can use the information in the real world.”
Info they are learning must apply to the real world
“There is too much text to sift through.”
People down want to peruse thought lengthy text blocks and wordy paragraphs. Lay info out in way so it dosnt look like thye are reading so much.
ie Headings, Sub headings, dot points.
Keep content to what is nessacary
“The online training platform is difficult to use.”
If the employees are not familiar or lack basic tech skills, then even the most user-friendly straightfoward elearning resource will be challenging.
“I’m getting the sense that the online facilitator doesn’t know how to train.”
It is very important for the trainer to understand the task and know what they are doing.
“I don’t feel like the online training is geared toward my needs.”
Every member of your corporate audience should feel like their online training experience is personal and geared toward their specific needs.
-Idea to have my eleadrning in a Beniner, Intermedit and Expert, That way if someone alreayd rides their bike all the time they arnt learning basic stuff they already know.-
“I think my brain is going to implode!”
This is one of the most frustrating issues that corporate learners face on a regular basis. Cognitive overload occurs when your corporate learners become overwhelmed by too much information in a short span of time.

My persona a lady named Tess. She dosnt like wasting time, and is keep to learn.
I used Geen.io for my leanring resource.

Started off with small drawing of what my idea was.
The moved on to create each page in Illustrator.

From this stage i then started to put it all together. This is what the final board looks like in Geen.io.

So the way my resource work is you have Welcome page go on to start page. From start page you have a small quiz. If you get all questions correct in the small quiz you can progress to the main quiz. If in the small quiz you get any questions wrong you progress to the informations screens (x4) once you have read the information you go on to the main quiz. To complete the main quiz you must get 100% of questions correct. If you get any questions wrong you must try again. If/When you get all questions correct you go on to collect you certificate.
From this i went to two test my resource.
I tested two users.

Testing your eLearning Prototype
eLeaning objective is one task, task has 2 quiz’ in it. First quiz is a very s
mall quiz and second quiz a big main quiz that user needs to pass to receive their certicate
I tested 2 users, one completed that main test in 2 attempts the other user gave
up and didn’t complete it after trying 2 times. (was apparent the that user didn’t read
the information in the lessons)
Expanding this in the future could maybe break the main test down into 3 smaller
tests rather then one big main test so people don’t get so overwhelmed by so many questions.
I feel sessions went ne and i didn’t need to step in.
Sessions went roughly 10 mins each.
User 1 did not complete tasks
User 2 did in 2 attempts
Dont feel users got bored at any point.
Maybe next time could lay out information in different way, feel like users didn’t want to read all the content.
