I don’t know how much I approve of using money as self help. The implication here seems to be that correct allocation of money will bring happiness. While I agree that A)having enough money and B) spending it well, including fun purchases, will increase a person’s happiness and well being, there’s something about the idea of a seminar to teach people how to use money to become happier that feels both overly-materialistic and like a quick but ultimately unsatisfying fix for whatever feelings of inner turmoil that send people to seek out various forms of self help in the first place.
