I have to assume that this study didn’t define “outsourcing disliked tasks” very clearly. I can’t believe that fully half of millionaires never pay for a someone to clean their houses or walk their dogs or rake their leaves. Could the wording of the question be the issue here? If you never clean your own bathroom, cleaning the bathroom is not a task you specifically dislike. I can imagine a lot of people telling themselves that they are outsourcing walking their dogs not because they dislike walking their dogs, but because paying someone else to walk the dogs gives them more time to attend to the stock market or spend time with their children or fly to Paris or whatever.
