How Much Do You Spend on Holiday Decorations?
Nicole Dieker

I’d have to think that most Billfolders are decoration re-users. Decorations aren’t free, after all. The only real upside I see to buying new stuff every year (aside from change/ the fun of shopping for new stuff) is that there’s no need to store all of this year’s stuff if you’re going to buy all new stuff next year.

Still, what’s the point of decorations that don’t have a bit of history? It may be necessary to buy new stuff to start somewhere, but decorations should be a mish-mash of presents from friends, the ornament that you made when you were three, the stuff that you and your spouse bought for your first Christmas together, etc.
