My only parking tickets were at my undergrad university.

Schools can be really scary about parking tickets. I once had a roommate who incurred a ticket when she visited a college she never attended. She was adamant that she didn’t deserve the ticket, so she ignored it and the mailed notices she received. However, somehow, the university knows whenever she moves, and it has sent her notices to her current address at the time over several moves and three different states. At this point, I think the university would be better off financially to leave my exroommate alone (and she would be better off just paying the bill to avoid the aggravation), but neither will budge, so four years later, they remain locked in a battle of titanic wills.
