The real problem with wedding presents is that married couples are no longer so young and unestablished that they need towels/ sheets/ jello molds anymore. I mean, sure, most couples could probably think of a few items that they’d like to upgrade, but overall, none of the traditional wedding gifts make sense in today’s world.

Modern brides and grooms would be much better served by money or more personal gifts, and the kitchen gadgets should be bought for high school graduates or as congratulations on moving out of the dorms presents.
