It’s great to hear that your exercise went well, and congratulations to your team for winning. Now, let’s get back to business. Our old friend Maksim Kotova has escaped the Schneider residence under mysterious circumstances, and our field agents did not see anyone leave.
Nevertheless, we are determined to capture him this time, by any means necessary. A few weeks ago, one of our field agents managed to sneak into the residence and attach a GPS tracker and camera device to Maksim’s jacket.
Unfortunately, it seems that Maksim has taken some countermeasures, as the GPS functionality of our device doesn’t seem to work, most likely due to some jamming device he has on him. Nevertheless, our device automatically connects to any public WiFi network in range and uploads the photos it takes.
It is your assignment to use these photos to locate Maksim Kotova. One you do, we will send in one of our top field agent, Ricardo Alvarez, AKA the Bloodhound. He will make short work of Maksim.

We start by doing a Reverse Image Search by looking for the first image from the image source (Picture 1).
Let’s check whether it is true that the location is at Berlin Brandenburg Airport.

There are several of the same ones so Says confirms that the first location is at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, Germany.
Next trace the next picture where he will go (Picture 2).
Again, we used Google Images and found similarities in the shape of the building structure.
The pillars supporting the airport building have the same shape so I tried to do further research.
Let’s try checking this location: Ankara Esenboga Airport Türkiye.
If you look at the image above, it is similar to the source image (Picture 2).
So now we try to find where he is by checking the Street View & 360 degrees section.
I found one that stood out and matched the source image (Picture 2).
After checking, we found the exact location where he was, where the red box in the middle was the location where he took this picture, supported by the surrounding structures according to the additional red mark that I gave.

So we can conclude that now he departed from Berlin, Germany (Berlin Brandenburg Airport to be precise) to Turkey (Ankara Esenboga Airport).
Next, we continue our search again by looking for the third image using Google Images.
I found one that had a picture similar to this building structure (outlined in red squares).
It can be seen that the structure of this building is the same as the source image (Picture 3).
Found the address of where this building is located.
So the location where he went next was Saray Osmangzi, Neighborhood Ozal Boulevard, Puskara, Ankara.

We continue looking at the source of the next image (Picture 4) which shows a room that most likely came from where he was staying in Picture 3.
After searching in various ways, I couldn’t find it so I focused first on the last image.
Then in the last image (Picture 5).
I tried using Google Images, but I couldn’t find it. Then I tried using Yandex Images and couldn’t find it.
So I decided to search using Google Earth Pro.
The focus of attention is on the image below to help make searching easier where we know the location in Ankara, Türkiye.
Then I found a similar location.
To be precise at Latanya Hotel Ankara.
Then I validated it again by checking whether there was an image that was similar to the location where I took the image in Picture 5.
It turns out there is and is proven to be valid for the location where the image was taken.
So we can see that Picture 5 is at Latanya Hotel Ankara Türkiye.
Then I tried going back to Picture 4 where the condition of the picture was. I tried to take the initiative to see the contents of the rooms at the Latanya Hotel because the ones at Saray Osmangzi couldn’t find the same room shape as Picture 4.
When compared with the source image Picture 4 below,
In terms of shape, it looks very similar and there is an air vent above the hallway leading to the exit which has distinctive characteristics also the same glass table next to the hallway to the exit of the room, which convinces me that the location of Picture 4 is at the Latanya Hotel.
So the conclusion is that the target is at Latanya Hotel Ankara, Türkiye.
