Is Lina Esco leaving SWAT 2022, the character of Chris Alonso? SWAT Season 5 Episode 20 Review: Dilemma
Is Lina Esco leaving SWAT, and are we nearing the end of the road for Chris Alonso, the character she portrays? How concerned ought we to be? Chris Alonso
Throughout all of tonight’s new episode, the authors did nothing to inspire confidence in her future. Instead, we were quite concerned. This individual has been an integral component of the show for numerous reasons, and that’s without mentioning the connection between Chris and Street, in which we’ve been so engaged. Esco has also directed the show, therefore her involvement with it is multifaceted. Chris Alonso
The greatest obstacle faced in this episode was the possibility that Chris might seize control of the safe house, rendering him unable to continue on SWAT. In fact, there may be a danger that is much bigger than that. Her narrative reflects the authors’ examination of contemporary events, thus they are doing more than merely raising worries about a character’s destiny. Chris Alonso
As tonight’s program progressed, our optimism for Chris’s future with Street grew. He acknowledged having emotions for her, after all! We are aware that she has returned affection, but the situation is difficult. In principle, her taking over the safe home may be a solution, since their collaboration is a significant part of the difficulty. If she did leave, it is unknown how much we would see of her on-screen.
Currently, it seems like Chris Alonso is vying for the safe-house position; she will be leaving SWAT in two weeks. What we can say for the time being is that nothing is absolutely certain. Until Esco herself announces her departure from the show, we recommend taking a wait-and-see stance. Given that it is a convenient two weeks, it is probable that she will be present for the remaining programs.
Regarding Chris Alonso and Street’s relationship, she informed him she was leaving at the conclusion of the episode because she did not believe they could be together. Don’t lose hope just yet! All things considered, the timing probably simply seemed slightly odd.

SWAT. Season 5 Episode 20 Review: Quandary
Chris Alonso’s tenure with SWAT. maybe coming to an end.
On SWAT. In season 5 Episode 20, Mama Pina was hospitalized and tasked Chris Alonso with finding a secure location for all the ladies in the safe home. However, it may be just what she needs to make a choice on her future with 20-Squad.
During the team’s pursuit of an illegal weapons dealer, SWAT. Academy recruit Cabrera found herself in a difficult emotional situation.
If there is one thing I like about SWAT., it is Lina Esco’s performance as Chris Alonso.
Chris Alonso has always been a strong female character, whether she was assisting female S.W.A.T. recruits or assisting others in finding a safe area.
Chris Alonso was introduced to Mama Pina earlier in Season 5 of SWAT., who runs a safe home for undocumented women.
Chris Alonso : Volunteering beside you to assist these ladies. I’ve been able to assist individuals in reassembling their lives. It feels great.
Mama Pina: You’ve made a significant impact.
In this episode, she arrived in the hospital and informed Chris Alonso that she had very little time left. While she had not intended for Chris to assume control of the safe home, she knew that it was necessary.
It seems obvious that Chris intended to accomplish this since she is always battling for others.
Chris Alonso and Lina Esco are my two favorite people.
As she formally informed Hondo that she was leaving SWAT., I felt in my heart that her choice was inevitable.
Chris Alonso , you are an outstanding SWAT officer. The first reason is that you have a heart. Because of this, I am certain that you are the ideal candidate for Mama Pina’s mark. Regarding S.W.A.T., you are leaving a legacy of which you may be damn proud. This year, two female graduates of SWAT. Academy followed in your footsteps.
It is currently uncertain whether Lina will leave the series, but it would be intriguing to watch how this plot develops and if it opens up to other possibilities.
With the Academy recruits becoming more recurrent characters in the series, they could certainly employ them to replace Chris.
Who’s to say that if Chris were to return to SWAT., she wouldn’t have a new role?
In the meanwhile, as was inevitable, we eventually received confirmation of Stris’s situation.
Luca attempted to get Street to go on a double date with him, a female, and a girl he fixed him up with throughout the episode.
However, Street was not willing to do so. Luca then revealed that he is in love with Chris and has been waiting for him to express it.
Luca: You sure you’re not falling for someone in secret? Like Chris, perhaps?
What is that?
Luca: Whenever her name is spoken, you become as radiant as if a beam of sunlight had just been spilled.
Chris pushed Street away when he informed him he wanted to give them a shot now that she is leaving SWAT.
I got the impression that the authors have been going back and forth for years, and anytime they get near, they just push it back. I just wish for happiness with one another. Make it occur!
In this episode, the team dealt with a case involving an illegal weapons dealer, which evoked strong emotions.
Cabrera, a SWAT. recruit from the academy, stood in for Chris while he was out with Mama Pina.
After almost killing a teenager who had broken into a home and was firing at police, Cabrera had a pleasant conversation with his mentor Deacon.
Nothing I could say could adequately prepare you. However, know this. Every time I’ve been forced to take a life, there was no alternative. I did what was necessary, therefore saving the lives of civilians or members of my team.
Having to pick between physical life and death on the job is difficult, particularly when it involves a child.
I’ve enjoyed learning more about the recruits and seeing 20-Squad form relationships with them. Cabrera will become a better SWAT. officer as a result of Deacon’s suggestions, which will only encourage her to do better.
I’m interested to see who will permanently replace Chris on 20-Squad.
Upon learning she had been selected for LAPD SWAT., Cabrera stepped up immediately.
It made a difference to get guidance from Deacon on how to do the necessary actions to rescue others.
But there are other recruits who would be just as excellent, so if Chris follows through on her commitment to managing the safe house, it may make for a nice plot if she continues to do so.
Chris and Street are caught in an endless circle of “will they or won’t they?”
The street has always been one to confess his affections, but when he told Chris, she refused to give it a go.
This provided him with the last confirmation that the plan would not work out.
Chris apparently still loves Street, since she was unwilling to tell him she no longer loved him Lina esco
But her refusal might mean that Street will leave her alone, and since they are no longer working together, a break could be just what they need Lina esco
Are you upset that Chris is leaving 20-Squad? How do you believe she will manage the safe house? Could Cabrera replace her permanently on the squad, or will someone else do so?
Will Street eventually find happiness? It seems like Luca was prepared to set him up on a blind date if only to watch him flinch. Lina esco
