LDP Online, simplifying business.

A common problem for many businesses, is finding the skills and resources need to operate a successful business. I personally experienced this problem too many times globally, which led to me asking one question… is it possible to automate many activities that would enable new or newly promoted employees to be effective fast?

Like any problem, surely there has to be a solution?

So starting with Lean Manufacturing, we developed a system of excellence, similar to that used by many corporations to drive improvement and sustain competitiveness.

To ensure it was simple and fun, the best way to learn, we developed a visual management system that included all Continuous Improvement systems (Systems that are proven to drive improvement and promote learning). We also made it into a visible game that would promote friendly competition and speed up continuous improvement…

To increase the simplicity further, unique cards were created to help users implement each system and tool easily and effectively.

Trying the system within a local business, the team found the system easy to use, effective and drove real improvement into the business which were evident within the businesses PnL… a 1st success!

However, from observing the implementation, I was still not convinced we had achieved a complete system that would allow any new employee to implement continuous improvement… the system needed some intelligence or automation that would provide this guidance… but how?

It was at a TEDx conference I got my answer, I need to take the brain of an experienced Lean Engineer/Manager and integrate it into the system! Basically the system needed to have the knowledge to guide the new employee and provide the guidance to implement the correct tools at the correct times… we need to create a GPS for Business, a Business Global Position System.

Our first step to achieve this was to create our knowledge, so combining with Lean Experts for various global locations, we built the knowledge that our new employee would need to guide themselves.

The second step was to automate the system based on our knowledge, so as a GPS, the system would automatically tell the user which lean tool to implement, how to implement, when to implement and what training or documentation was needed. By recreating every option and outcome, we were able to create an intelligence system that could now automatically direct the new employee and provide automatic responses and direction immediately as they implemented the many continuous improvement tools.

The Third step was how to link a digital system with a physical visual management systems… This meant creating a mobile application that could track improvement, provide training, maintain motivation and provide direction and advice.

Today we achieved exactly this, our first intelligent lean system that will allow any business to implement improvement throughout all departments and process within a business, achieving real business results with real people with limited experience.

Now anyone can become a lean expert and understand clearly the benefits continuous improvement bring to any business.

Similar intelligent system will soon be available for Project Management, Supplier Development, ISO Quality Systems, Performance Monitoring/Production Management, Kamishabai and Human Resource/Personal Development.

Soon anyone with the drive and want to be any position within their business will have access to systems that will help them achieve their personal targets, but also the results their business need!
