As soon as I saw the title of this I knew you were from the US. I actually thought “move to the UK” but nobody is going to be doing that now with the Brexit debacle. Learning to love your quirks is tough, a life long journey perhaps, particularly when it’s something that is ‘just the cards you’ve been dealt’ and expensive to fix (in any country, I’m pretty sure!). But I have never seen such an amazing array of interesting teeth than the UK. Huge teeth in small mouths seems to be a genetic inheritance. I have a friend who had 13 teeth removed growing up and STILL has a full set as an adult. And her mum finally got braces at the age of 67 to fix her crowded mouth.
